My compulsion in work and in life has always been to investigate the limits of our capabilities as human beings. Over and over people demonstrate that we are capable of much more than we think we are, both mentally and physically. The boundary line of what is ‘possible’ seems to keep expanding. My attempts to challenge those limits always teach me a lot and I hope they inspire others to find their own hidden reserves.
Any real magician is also interested in traditional cultures, ancient traditions and rites because in these traditions was the earliest practice of magic. Running a marathon to support Maasai people in a bold attempt to grapple with the demands of the modern world while still holding onto a traditional way of life is a very compelling fusion of my interests.
I have collaborated with Edwardo the Great Nortini on numerous endeavors in the realms of cinema, illusion and oceanic exploration.
This is our first joint foray into the limits of physical endurance.
With the added support of Drewser the Wolff-man, I expect there will be a lot of laughter, always the best medicine for pain in the joints.
